A. Yes. ESFA is an Accredited Member of ActiveIQ and REPs.

Q. Do I need any previous education or experience?
A. The personal fitness trainer course is designed to get you started toward a new career with no previous experience required. You must be at least 16 years old,
display a keen desire to work in the health and leisure sector and have a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Q. How Does the Online Personal Trainer Certificate work?
A. Once a £500 deposit has been paid, students are then enrolled onto the ESFA online personal trainer course and given access to the Active IQ online learning platform and to the learner manuals.  At this point students are able to begin their study for the course and are encouraged to make regular contact with the ESFA tutors if they have any queries or questions about the course content. Once the students have completed the e-learning, they are then required to complete some coursework prior to their arrival onto the 2 week practical element of the course. Again, ESFA tutors are available online to provide coursework guidance to the student.
